Regular and Irregular Plural Nouns
Plural nouns name more than one person, place, or thing.
Add -s to form the plural of most nouns.
Add -es to nouns ending in ch, sh, x, z, s, and ss.
If a noun ends in a vowel and y, add -s.
If a noun ends in a consonant and y, change the y to i and add -es.
Some nouns have irregular plural forms. They change spelling.
For most nouns that end in f or fe, change f to v and add -es.
Some nouns have the same singular and plural forms.
